Sales Account Manager Jobs in Arizona: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales account manager in Arizona?
Most Arizona employers expect a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field alongside prior sales or customer-facing experience, though no state-issued license is required for the role. Many candidates start in inside sales, business development representative, or account coordinator positions at Arizona-based companies before moving into account management. Earning a Salesforce certification or completing a structured sales training program strengthens your candidacy considerably with Arizona's technology and healthcare employers.
How much do sales account managers make in Arizona?
Sales account managers in Arizona earn a median of about $145,690 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $74,510 for the lowest 10% to over $255,220 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire sales account managers in Arizona?
Employers hiring sales account managers in Arizona right now include Accenture, T-Mobile, and Keystone Technologies, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Arizona's concentration of technology firms, healthcare systems, and financial services companies in the Phoenix metro means consistent demand across a range of industries and account types.
Which Arizona cities have the most sales account manager jobs?
Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tucson have the most sales account manager openings in Arizona. Phoenix drives the largest share because it hosts regional headquarters for major technology, insurance, and healthcare organizations, while Scottsdale and Tempe add volume through their dense clusters of SaaS startups, financial services firms, and medical device companies that all rely heavily on account management teams.
Are there remote sales account manager jobs in Arizona?
Yes, and more than most fields. Sales account management is heavily relationship-driven but largely desk-based for inside and enterprise roles, which makes remote and hybrid arrangements common. About 64% of sales account manager openings tied to Arizona are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how widely distributed client bases have become. Enterprise software and SaaS account management roles tend to offer the most remote flexibility, while territory-based or field sales positions typically require in-person coverage.
How can I get hired as a sales account manager in Arizona with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is landing a business development representative or inside sales associate role at one of Arizona's technology or healthcare companies, then moving into account management after demonstrating quota attainment. Large Phoenix-area employers including Banner Health, Axon, and Insight Direct regularly hire for structured sales development programs that build toward account management. Completing a Salesforce certification and building a record of outbound prospecting results gives candidates with limited experience a concrete edge in Arizona applications.
Where can I find and apply to sales account manager jobs in Arizona?
You can find and apply to sales account manager jobs in Arizona on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings tied to the Arizona market. Search the listings, find the roles that fit your experience and target industry, and apply directly to each one.
