Entry Level Salesforce Administrator Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level salesforce administrator job?
Employers hiring entry level salesforce administrators look for the Salesforce Certified Administrator credential above almost everything else, so earn it before you apply. Back it up with hands-on practice in a free Trailhead playground, a volunteer or internship project you can walk through in an interview, and basic familiarity with flows, reports, and user management. Those three things together put a new grad candidate ahead of most applicants at this stage.
Which companies hire entry level salesforce administrators?
Companies hiring entry level salesforce administrators right now include WeldFit, CallRail, and Samba TV, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. A wide range of employers hire at this level, from fast-growing tech startups building out their CRM for the first time to mid-size companies that need a dedicated admin to support an existing Salesforce org.
Are there remote entry level salesforce administrator jobs?
Yes, though not every opening is fully remote. About 33% of entry level salesforce administrator openings are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, making this one of the more flexible roles at the junior level. Hybrid schedules are common among employers who want new admins in the office part of the week for onboarding and collaboration with sales and operations teams.
Are these new grad salesforce administrator jobs?
Yes. The openings on this page include new grad, recent graduate, and junior salesforce administrator roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts an internship or volunteer project in place of full-time history, or lists a Salesforce certification rather than years on the job as the primary requirement. Look for language like "entry level," "junior," or "will train" as clear signals the employer is open to candidates starting out.
Which industries hire the most entry level salesforce administrators?
Entry Level salesforce administrator roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Banking & Financial Services, and Manufacturing, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Those sectors drive hiring at this level because they rely heavily on Salesforce to manage customer relationships, sales pipelines, and service operations, creating steady demand for administrators who can keep the platform running even without years of experience behind them.
