The team's mission is to streamline threat modeling, eliminate triage noise, validate exploitability, verify automated patches, and drive open security issues to verified resolution across enterprise applications.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Document trust boundaries, data flows, and architectural entry points for high-priority services, maintaining updated threat profiles in centralized repositories.
- Review, filter, and classify findings generated by automated source and endpoint scanners against security compliance policies and strict remediation SLAs.
- Construct minimal test environments and reproduction harnesses to validate whether reported findings represent viable vulnerabilities versus false positives.
- Supervise and validate code patches generated by automated remediation agents, executing unit/integration tests and inspecting diffs for unintended regressions or logic errors.
- Route QA-approved, tested patch changelists to designated product team code owners and shepherd fixes through code review to production deployment.
- Verify end-to-end deployment of fixes to production and document SLA-compliant issue closures.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Vulnerability Triage & Remediation (3+ years): Practical experience with OWASP Top 10, CWE, CVE, and static/dynamic scanning tools.
- Multi-Language Software Development (3+ years): Proficiency reading, writing, and debugging code in at least two core languages: C++, Go, Java, or Python.
- Threat Modeling Frameworks (2+ years): Practical familiarity with structured frameworks (e.g., STRIDE, PASTA) and mapping system entry points/data flows.
