Role Overview
Korn Ferry is seeking a Senior Consultant, Training & Onboarding to contribute to our growth and profitability goals by delivering best-in-class support services to our clients and internal teams.
This dual-impact role blends end-to-end recruitment process training, onboarding oversight, and complex candidate accommodation case management with global knowledge strategy. - Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for high-complexity candidate accommodation cases across global regions, managing interactive processes end-to-end with empathy and strict confidentiality.
- Evaluate nuanced accommodation requests, designing tailored interview and hiring process adjustments.
- Partner directly with recruiting coordinators, interview panels, and hiring managers to seamlessly execute reasonable adjustments across the assessment lifecycle.
Knowledge Architecture & Instructional Design
- Build and maintain an operational knowledge base covering client hiring workflows, localized disability frameworks, common adjustments, and assistive technologies.
- Design and deliver interactive instructional modules covering disability etiquette, cross-cultural accommodation nuances, and legal recruitment compliance.
- Work closely with KF Quality Auditors, Team Leads, Client Points of Contact (POCs), and L&D partners to identify continuous learning opportunities.
Compliance, Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure recruitment and accommodation processes adhere to local legal requirements and international data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, ADA, UK Equality Act, EU Directives).
- Identify operational gaps and develop continuous improvement initiatives aligned with client business goals.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience spanning L&D, recruitment onboarding/operations, candidate accommodations, or HR instructional design in a fast-paced environment.
- Instructional & Facilitation Skills: Proven track record of creating interactive training content and delivering engaging presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace, familiarity with enterprise case management systems, and awareness of modern assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers, adaptive hardware).

- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data/quality metrics and convert them into sound recommendations and solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with technology-driven recruitment or managing/mentoring distributed team members.
- Working knowledge of international disability and accommodation frameworks (e.g., ADA, UK Equality Act, EU accessibility standards).
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., L&D/Training certifications, CPDM, CDMS, Certified ADA Coordinator, SHRM-SCP/CIPD).

Senior Consultant Jobs in Houston: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a senior consultant job in Houston?
The strongest path into a senior consultant role in Houston is through the city's energy, petrochemical, and engineering sectors, where firms in the Energy Corridor and Westchase district hire heavily. Management consulting boutiques clustered Downtown and in Greenway Plaza also recruit consistently. Candidates who combine deep technical expertise with project leadership experience stand out most, especially those with upstream or downstream energy exposure or large-scale operations backgrounds.
Which companies hire senior consultants in Houston?
Employers hiring senior consultants in Houston right now include Deloitte, TRC, and Amazon Web Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Houston's hiring mix skews toward energy majors, engineering and construction firms, and regional healthcare systems, alongside the global consulting practices that serve them.
Are there remote senior consultant jobs in Houston?
Yes, though availability varies by specialty. Senior consultant roles that are primarily analytical or advisory tend to offer more remote flexibility, while project site work and stakeholder-facing engagements typically require in-person presence. About 74% of senior consultant openings tied to Houston are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with the highest remote share found in strategy, finance, and technology consulting roles.
How can I get a senior consultant job in Houston with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Houston is through analyst or associate consultant roles at the energy companies and engineering firms concentrated in the Energy Corridor and Midtown. Houston's large oilfield services and EPC firms routinely hire junior analysts and rotate them into consulting tracks. Building familiarity with energy operations, cost modeling, or supply chain gives early-career candidates a genuine edge over generalist applicants in this market.
Which industries hire the most senior consultants in Houston?
The sectors hiring the most senior consultants in Houston are Consulting & Professional Services, Energy, and Accounting & Auditing, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Houston's role as the global hub for energy production, refining, and petrochemicals makes those industries the dominant driver of consulting demand, pulling in adjacent work across environmental compliance, capital projects, and digital transformation.
