Job Summary:
A leading healthcare technology organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support corporate Financial Planning & Analysis activities. This role will be responsible for financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, financial modeling, and business performance insights. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, advanced spreadsheet skills, and experience supporting cross-functional business operations in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial plans, forecasts, budgets, and long-range projections for income statement and balance sheet metrics
- Develop financial reports and analyses to support management decision-making and business reviews
- Maintain planning calendars and coordinate financial deliverables across multiple stakeholders
- Create and enhance financial models, reporting tools, and process improvement initiatives
- Support monthly financial performance reporting, including sales, expenses, forecasting, and operational metrics
- Partner with business leaders to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Perform month-end close activities including revenue reconciliations, journal entries, expense analysis, and project spend tracking
- Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales trends and financial projections
- Consolidate financial information from multiple business functions and prepare executive-level reporting
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis, data mining, and modeling projects for senior leadership
- Support cross-functional planning and operational initiatives through data-driven insights
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Minimum seven years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis, or related functions
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including financial modeling and data analysis
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Experience supporting business planning and management decision-making processes
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience working within a Fortune 500 organization
- Financial consolidation and reporting experience
- Experience supporting integrated business planning or sales and operations planning processes
- Strong systems aptitude and process improvement mindset
- Experience working in highly dynamic and cross-functional environments
