Entry Level Site Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level site manager job?
Employers hiring entry level site managers typically look for candidates who have completed relevant coursework, internships, or hands-on project work in construction, facilities, or a related field. Certifications like OSHA 10 or 30, familiarity with project management software, and any documented site experience give candidates a clear edge. Highlighting specific projects, even academic or volunteer ones, strengthens an application at this stage.
Which companies hire entry level site managers?
Companies hiring entry level site managers right now include Amazon, TUSCO, and The People Concern, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring tends to come from a mix of general contractors, property management firms, and infrastructure developers that bring on junior candidates and train them within established site teams.
Are there remote entry level site manager jobs?
Yes, though most site manager roles are on-site by nature. About 5% of entry level site manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and these tend to involve coordination, scheduling, or administrative site duties rather than direct physical oversight. On-site roles remain the majority at this level.
Are these new grad site manager jobs?
Yes, many of the openings listed here are new grad and junior roles that welcome recent graduates and candidates with limited professional experience. A new grad friendly posting typically states that zero to two years of experience is acceptable and may credit internships, co-ops, or a strong portfolio in place of full-time work history. Look for language like "entry level," "training provided," or "new graduates encouraged to apply."
Which industries hire the most entry level site managers?
Entry Level site manager roles concentrate in Retail, Technology & Software, and E-Commerce & Online Marketplaces, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they operate ongoing construction cycles, facility expansion projects, or property portfolios that require junior site oversight and create consistent openings for candidates just starting out.
