Entry Level Procurement Analyst Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level procurement analyst job?
Focus on coursework or internship experience in supply chain, purchasing, or vendor management, and highlight any exposure to ERP systems like SAP or Oracle. Employers at this level look for candidates who can read contracts, support sourcing decisions, and work with spreadsheets. A degree in business, supply chain, or a related field gives you a strong foundation, and any hands-on project that shows analytical thinking will set you apart.
Which companies hire entry level procurement analysts?
Companies hiring entry level procurement analysts right now include Amazon, RXO, and Mace, based on current listings on MigrateAte as of July 2026. At this level, you'll find openings at large manufacturers, logistics firms, healthcare systems, government contractors, and retailers that run structured procurement teams and regularly bring on junior talent.
Are there remote entry level procurement analyst jobs?
Yes, though many roles at this level lean on-site or hybrid given the hands-on nature of early procurement work. About 16% of entry level procurement analyst openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so candidates who need flexibility will find options, particularly at larger organizations with established digital workflows.
Are these new grad procurement analyst jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior procurement analyst roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts internships or co-op terms toward eligibility, or accepts a strong academic background in place of full-time work history. Look for language like "entry level," "training provided," or "recent graduates encouraged to apply" as reliable signals.
Which industries hire the most entry level procurement analysts?
Entry level procurement analyst roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Consulting & Professional Services, and Retail, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at the junior level because they maintain large supplier networks, manage high purchase volumes, and need analysts to support sourcing, contract review, and cost tracking on an ongoing basis.
