Diodes Incorporated is seeking a Manager, Manufacturing Process Engineering to lead the Diffusion/EPI Process team. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to lead a team of process sustaining engineers and technicians in a dynamic and challenging environment in support of our 24/7 Wafer Fab. The chosen candidate will lead and collaborate across many cross-functional groups in order to implement world-class traditional and non-traditional IC (integrated circuit) processes. This position is responsible for sustaining existing Manufacturing processes with additional responsibilities to support Transfers/Process Development.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the process engineering team and align site priorities to individual responsibilities
- Train, motivate, and set expectations for high performance and use of rigorous engineering methodology
- Manage team performance to achieve quality, delivery and cost metrics
- Plan, organize and manage resources for cross-functional and multi-disciplined integration projects
- Create and foster a team culture that focusses on individual growth, shared responsibility and collaboration
- Collaborate with process management and other cross-functional teams onsite to resolve issues
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or other related field
· 10+ Years of experience of Epitaxy Semiconductor Process Engineering is a must!
· Demonstrated knowledge of device physics and process integration
· Demonstrated and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
· Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
· Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
· Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
· 5+ Years of managerial experience preferred
