We are looking for a motivated, growth-oriented Business Development Manager to help provide exceptional service to existing dealers while also expanding our customer base. Position Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for growing sales through a combination of account management and new business development. This role involves regularly visiting existing dealer accounts to gather orders, maintain strong customer relationships, and identify growth opportunities, while also prospecting and developing new business throughout the assigned territory.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, driven to succeed, and enjoys building long-term customer relationships. Success in this role requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Service existing dealer accounts on established routes and gather product orders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Identify opportunities to increase battery sales within existing accounts.
• Prospect, develop, and secure new dealer accounts within the territory.
• Conduct sales presentations and effectively communicate the value of Interstate Batteries products and services.
• Track customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities in Salesforce CRM.
• Collaborate with other team members to provide outstanding customer service.
• Meet or exceed sales and territory growth goals.
• Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, route sales, account management, or business development preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with a desire to grow both personally and professionally.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Salesforce experience is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and mobile technology.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
• Ability to lift 45+lbs safely and consistently

Compensation & Benefits

• $50,000–$70,000+ annual earning potential, including base salary and performance incentives.

• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
