Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer with strong healthcare services and operational finance experience to lead the organization’s financial strategy, planning, and performance initiatives. The ideal candidate is a proven healthcare CFO who has led finance within a large, multi-site private practice or healthcare services organization. This individual should bring both strategic leadership and hands-on operational finance expertise, with the ability to partner closely with executive leadership while driving accountability, financial performance, and scalable infrastructure across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting, finance, budgeting, treasury, audit, tax, and financial planning functions
- Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team
- Develop and oversee annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial planning
- Improve financial reporting, internal controls, and operational analytics
- Drive cash flow forecasting and working capital management
- Oversee revenue cycle operations and identify areas for performance improvement
- Provide financial guidance related to payer contracts, operational initiatives, and organizational growth strategies
- Partner with department leaders to improve financial accountability and decision making
- Lead and mentor accounting and finance team members
- Evaluate systems, workflows, and processes to improve scalability and efficiency
- Present financial reporting and strategic insights to executive leadership and Board stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA, MHA, CPA, or Master’s preferred
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience within healthcare organizations
- Prior CFO experience REQUIRED
- Experience supporting similar-sized or larger organizations required
- Strong healthcare services experience required, preferably within large, multi-site private practice environments
- Demonstrated success leading accounting, finance, budgeting, treasury, and operational finance functions
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle management, reimbursement models, and payer structures
- Experience partnering with executive leadership and Board stakeholders
- Proven leadership ability with experience building and managing high-performing teams
- Strong operational, analytical, and strategic finance capabilities
- Ability to lead organizational growth, process improvements, and financial infrastructure initiatives
