Who's Hiring

Strategy Associate Jobs in Philadelphia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a strategy associate job in Philadelphia?
Focus your search on Philadelphia's densest hiring corridors: Center City's financial and consulting firms, the University City health system and research cluster, and the Navy Yard's growing corporate campus. Healthcare systems, insurance companies, and management consulting practices drive the most openings locally. Candidates who can demonstrate quantitative modeling skills alongside clear communication tend to stand out, since Philadelphia employers across sectors look for associates who can own a workstream independently from day one.
Which companies hire strategy associates in Philadelphia?
Employers hiring strategy associates in Philadelphia right now include Penn Medicine, ZS Associates, and CBIZ, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of October 2026. Philadelphia's hiring base is especially strong among large health systems, regional banks, insurance carriers, and mid-size consulting firms with local offices.
Are there remote strategy associate jobs in Philadelphia?
Yes, though it depends on the role: strategy associate positions are analytical and presentation-heavy, making them more remote-compatible than hands-on or client-facing roles, but many Philadelphia employers still prefer in-office collaboration for live project work. About 100% of strategy associate openings tied to Philadelphia are remote or hybrid as of October 2026. Research and data-heavy workstreams tend to be the most flexible, while stakeholder-facing strategy delivery typically requires regular in-person presence.
How can I get a strategy associate job in Philadelphia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Philadelphia is through rotational programs at the city's large health systems and insurance carriers, which regularly recruit analysts with strong academic records into structured strategy tracks. Roles like operations analyst, business analyst, or junior consultant at Philadelphia-area firms are common stepping stones. Familiarity with Excel modeling and PowerPoint-driven storytelling gives early-career candidates a concrete edge, and connecting with Drexel, Penn, or Temple alumni networks opens doors to companies that hire locally on a recurring basis.
