ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Project Controls Analyst to support project planning, scheduling and controls activities across engineering projects. This role will be primarily focused on developing, maintaining and analyzing project schedules using Primavera P6 / Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC), while also supporting cost tracking, reporting and project performance analysis. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of project controls or project scheduling experience and is looking to grow within a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.
Main Duties
- Develop, update and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 / Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC).
- Work with project managers and engineering teams to collect schedule inputs and validate sequencing of activities.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect actual performance and forecast completion dates.
- Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks or delays.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly project status reports.
- Support cost tracking, forecasting and variance analysis as needed.
- Maintain schedule integrity, logic ties and baseline comparisons.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide schedule updates and insights.
- Support continuous improvement of project controls processes and tools.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with engineering or business degree nice to have but not required.
- 2-5 years’ experience in project controls, project scheduling or construction/engineering project support.
- Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 / Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) and MS Project required.
- Understanding of project scheduling principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering project data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, formulas and data analysis).
- Ability to work cross-functionally with project teams.
- Basic written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service.
COMPENSATION
- Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
