Strategy Intern Jobs in Kansas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a strategy intern in Kansas?
Strategy intern roles in Kansas do not require a state-issued license. Most positions are open to current students or recent graduates pursuing a degree in business administration, economics, finance, or a related field from a Kansas institution such as the University of Kansas, Kansas State University, or Wichita State University. Building a portfolio of case studies, data projects, or campus consulting work strengthens applications at Kansas-based employers.
Which companies hire strategy interns in Kansas?
Kansas strategy intern roles are posted by CVS Health, Koch, and Black & Veatch and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Kansas's mix of large industrial conglomerates, aviation manufacturers, and regional healthcare systems creates a diverse range of strategy intern placements across sectors.
Which Kansas cities have the most strategy intern jobs?
Kansas, Wichita, and Overland Park have the most strategy intern openings in Kansas. Wichita leads because of its dense concentration of aviation and manufacturing headquarters, while Kansas City draws demand from corporate services and healthcare organizations, and Topeka's government and insurance sector supports additional placements for strategy-focused interns.
Are there remote strategy intern jobs in Kansas?
Yes, and they're more common than in many fields, since strategy intern work centers on analysis, research, and slide-building rather than on-site tasks. About 83% of strategy intern openings tied to Kansas are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting broader corporate flexibility. Competitive analysis, market research, and financial modeling projects are the functions most frequently offered in a remote format.
How can I get hired as a strategy intern in Kansas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying through university-sponsored internship programs at major Kansas employers before competing in the open market. Koch Industries, Garmin, and major Wichita-area aerospace firms run structured intern cohorts that welcome students without prior corporate strategy experience. Participating in business case competitions through the University of Kansas or Wichita State, or moving laterally from a financial analyst or operations assistant role, gives candidates a competitive edge without a prior strategy title on their resume.
Where can I find and apply to strategy intern jobs in Kansas?
You can find and apply to strategy intern jobs in Kansas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Kansas openings updated in real time. Search the roles available, identify the positions that fit your background and target location, and apply directly to each one.
