Strategy Intern Jobs in Louisiana: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a strategy intern in Louisiana?
Most strategy intern roles in Louisiana require current enrollment in or recent graduation from a business, economics, public policy, or related degree program at an accredited institution such as Tulane, LSU, or Loyola New Orleans. No state-issued license is required for strategy internships, but candidates who complete coursework in Louisiana's dominant industries, namely energy, healthcare, or financial services, and who can demonstrate analytical and presentation skills, move fastest through hiring processes at major Louisiana employers.
Which companies hire strategy interns in Louisiana?
Louisiana strategy intern roles are posted by CVS Health, Block, and Deloitte and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Louisiana's concentration of energy, healthcare, and infrastructure firms means intern openings frequently appear at large regional anchors with structured summer programs.
Which Louisiana cities have the most strategy intern jobs?
New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Louisiana account for the largest share of strategy intern openings in Louisiana. New Orleans leads because of its dense concentration of financial services firms, healthcare systems like Ochsner, and professional services offices, while Baton Rouge draws postings from energy and petrochemical companies headquartered along the industrial corridor, and Shreveport adds openings tied to regional healthcare networks and logistics operators in the northwest.
Are there remote strategy intern jobs in Louisiana?
Yes, and more than most fields, since strategy work is heavily analytical and presentation-driven rather than hands-on. About 71% of strategy intern openings tied to Louisiana are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how readily the core deliverables, research, modeling, and slide decks, translate to distributed work. Market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling tasks are the sub-areas most likely to appear in fully remote postings.
How can I get hired as a strategy intern in Louisiana with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying directly to structured summer intern programs that large Louisiana employers run for undergraduates and graduate students with no prior corporate strategy experience. Ochsner Health, Entergy, and major consulting offices in New Orleans and Baton Rouge recruit through university partnerships and campus career fairs, specifically seeking candidates who are early in their academic careers. A strong GPA, a completed case competition, or a business school consulting club role signals readiness, and candidates who can demonstrate familiarity with Louisiana's energy or healthcare sectors move faster through screening.
Where can I find and apply to strategy intern jobs in Louisiana?
You can find and apply to strategy intern jobs in Louisiana on Migrate Mate, which lists current Louisiana openings updated regularly. Search the listings to find roles that fit your background, experience level, and preferred location within the state, then apply directly to the ones that match.
