Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Equipment Superintendent to lead and oversee the maintenance, management, and operational efficiency of CAT equipment within our manufacturing or facilities environment. Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities for all equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
• Supervise a team of maintenance technicians and specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing work environment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track asset history, work orders, and maintenance schedules.
• Oversee the installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage equipment.
• Manage facilities management tasks related to HVAC systems, mechanical components, schematics interpretation, and industrial maintenance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards by conducting regular inspections of electrical panels, high voltage systems, and mechanical equipment; enforce safety protocols across the team.
• Collaborate with project management teams on equipment upgrades or new installations by reviewing schematics and technical drawings; coordinate procurement and vendor relationships.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics; interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
• Monitor equipment performance metrics; analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements or cost reductions.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, incident reports, asset histories, and compliance documentation.

Skills

• Proven management experience leading maintenance teams in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical expertise in high voltage and low voltage systems.
• Proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting complex control systems.
• Experience with CMMS software for scheduling work orders, tracking assets, and managing maintenance workflows.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, facilities management practices, and industrial safety standards.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Effective leadership capabilities with a focus on supervising personnel and fostering team development.
• Ability to read technical schematics accurately; use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
