Position Overview:
NovoLINC Inc. is growing its operational team as we are transitioning from pilot to full-scale manufacturing. We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, and detail-orientated Supply Chain Manager who can join us as we continue to expand our operational footprint and product portfolio. This role is suitable for early-career supply chain leaders seeking experience in a fast-paced, growth-mindset environment.
Working directly under the Vice President of Operations as part of the operational leadership team, the Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day success of our end-to-end supply chain, ensuring product delivery on-time, in-full, to our growing customer base. The role will involve significant use of supply chain tools (ERP, IMS), methodologies (inventory planning, procurement, vendor selection), and day-to-day execution of activities to ensure delivery to customers. In many instances, the role will establish and improve systems and methodologies from a near-greenfield state. The role will lay the foundation of a globally excelling future supply chain organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the supply chain scale-up efforts of a fast-growing operation, entailing multiple manufacturing operations and/or operational models, longer-term.
- Lead demand forecasting and supply planning activities to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support business objectives and growth plans.
- Manage and execute end-to-end procurement, inventory planning, warehousing, transportation, and distribution activities.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement processes to optimize stock availability and carrying costs.
- Proactively improve existing systems, structures, and business processes to enable and support short-term scaling and growth plans.
- Lead in the identification and implementation of optimal future-state supply chain systems and tools to facilitate longer-term operational growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistical partners.
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, research and development, business development, and finance.
- Help negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements with suppliers and service providers.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, shortages, and compliance issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data analysis and process optimization methods.
- Build supply chain support team to align with growth of broader organization.
Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor's degree (BS) in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Operations or Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or operations management.
- Demonstrated experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts in global business landscape.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, demand planning, and logistics operations.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and supply chain management software, in both small and large-scale manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with transportation (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
Qualifications (Preferred):
- Master's degree (MS) in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Operations or Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM), or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
- Knowledge of Lean, (Lean) Six Sigma, Agile, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience implementing or optimizing ERP and supply chain planning systems, including the vendor selection process.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and large-scale process improvement initiatives.
- Supervisory experience in the manufacturing or operations setting.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and supply chain risk management.
- Experience in the semiconductor or consumer electronics industries.
