Supply Chain Manager Jobs in Nashville: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a supply chain manager job in Nashville?
Target Nashville's strongest hiring sectors: healthcare systems, automotive and industrial manufacturers, and the third-party logistics companies clustered near the airport and along I-65. Roles concentrate in Midtown, Metro Center, and suburban corridors like Brentwood and Smyrna. Candidates who combine ERP proficiency with direct vendor or distribution experience move faster here, and familiarity with healthcare supply chain compliance gives a real edge in this market.
Which companies hire supply chain managers in Nashville?
Companies currently hiring supply chain managers in Nashville include Amazon, Work From Home, and Capgemini, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Nashville's employer mix runs from large regional health systems and national retailers with distribution hubs to mid-size manufacturers and logistics providers with deep Middle Tennessee footprints.
Are there remote supply chain manager jobs in Nashville?
Yes, though remote availability depends heavily on the role's function. Hands-on positions tied to warehouses, distribution centers, or plant floors are almost always on-site, while demand planning, procurement analytics, and supplier relationship roles can run hybrid or fully remote. About 13% of supply chain manager openings tied to Nashville are remote or hybrid as of July 2026. The most remote-friendly functions in Nashville tend to be strategic sourcing and supply planning.
How can I get a supply chain manager job in Nashville with little or no experience?
The most realistic path in Nashville is moving up from a logistics coordinator, procurement analyst, or operations supervisor role within a local healthcare system, 3PL provider, or manufacturer. Companies in Brentwood and Smyrna often hire entry-level supply chain talent and promote internally. A APICS CSCP or CPIM certification signals readiness for manager-track roles and is recognized by many Nashville employers evaluating candidates without direct management experience.
Which industries hire the most supply chain managers in Nashville?
Nashville supply chain manager roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Retail, and E-Commerce & Online Marketplaces, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Healthcare is the dominant driver given Nashville's status as a national hub for hospital management companies and health services firms, while logistics and manufacturing round out demand across the broader metro area.
