Supply Chain Operations Jobs in Orlando: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a supply chain operations job in Orlando?
Targeting Orlando's dominant sectors gives you the clearest path: aerospace and defense logistics around the Airport Commerce Center, healthcare supply chain in Lake Nona's medical city, and distribution operations serving the tourism and hospitality industry along the Interstate 4 corridor. Employers here tend to value hands-on warehouse management system experience, SAP or Oracle proficiency, and familiarity with high-volume distribution environments. Networking through Central Florida logistics industry events and the local APICS chapter puts you in front of the hiring managers who fill these roles.
Which companies hire supply chain operationss in Orlando?
Employers hiring supply chain operationss in Orlando right now include CHEP, L3Harris, and Coke Florida, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Orlando attracts a broad mix of large distribution centers, aerospace manufacturers, regional healthcare systems, and hospitality and theme park operators, all of which maintain active supply chain functions in the metro area.
Are there remote supply chain operations jobs in Orlando?
Yes, though availability depends heavily on the specific function, since hands-on roles in warehousing and distribution are almost always on-site while procurement, demand planning, and vendor management positions can be done remotely. About 25% of supply chain operations openings tied to Orlando are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the mix of field and desk-based work across local employers. Analytical and strategic roles at Orlando's healthcare and technology employers tend to offer the most remote flexibility.
How can I get a supply chain operations job in Orlando with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point in Orlando is a warehouse operations coordinator or logistics assistant role with one of the major distribution centers near Orlando International Airport or the I-4 industrial corridor, where employers regularly hire and train candidates without prior formal supply chain experience. Community college certificate programs through Valencia College in operations or logistics can strengthen your application. From there, lateral moves into inventory control or demand planning open quickly once you have system and process exposure on the ground.
Which industries hire the most supply chain operationss in Orlando?
Most supply chain operations openings in Orlando sit in Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, and Media & Entertainment, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Orlando's combination of major theme park and hospitality operators, a growing aerospace and defense manufacturing base, and one of Florida's largest healthcare clusters creates sustained year-round demand for supply chain professionals across all experience levels.
