Duties
- Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing and arranging surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies according to aseptic techniques.
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, suturing wounds, and managing surgical tools efficiently.
- Monitor patient vital signs and physiological responses throughout surgeries to ensure stability and safety.
- Maintain accurate medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems, documenting procedures and patient information meticulously.
- Support infection prevention protocols by adhering to hospital infection control standards and sterilization procedures for medical equipment.
- Assist with the treatment of fractures, trauma care, orthopedic surgeries, neurosurgeries, cardiovascular surgeries, and pediatric procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in emergency medicine, critical care units such as ICU or PICU, and during trauma cases at Level I or Level II trauma centers.
