JOB OVERVIEW
We’re looking for a technical problem-solver who enjoys building smart solutions that connect product design to manufacturing. In this role, you’ll work across ERP, CPQ, and R&D systems to develop and support the calculations and logic that drive our made-to-order products.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll design, build, and improve systems that directly impact how products are manufactured—while also partnering closely with teams across the business. If you like digging into complex problems, improving processes, and seeing your work show up in real-world production, you’ll enjoy this role.
HIGHLIGHTS OF YOUR ROLE:
Build & Improve Systems (Core of the Role)
- Design and develop solutions that support product calculations and manufacturing automation
- Translate product designs and specs from R&D into system logic and outputs
- Create and maintain database objects (tables, procedures, scripts, reports, etc.)
- Analyze system needs and implement updates that improve performance and scalability
- Test thoroughly to ensure accuracy, reliability, and minimal downstream impact
- Troubleshoot issues in production and keep systems running smoothly
Be a Technical Leader
- Lead development work for complex product calculations
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other analysts on the team
- Help establish best practices for development, testing, and documentation
- Act as a go-to resource for technical design and problem-solving
Partner Across the Business
- Work closely with R&D to understand product designs and calculation requirements
- Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure outputs meet automation needs
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to move projects forward
- Support order management teams with the data and system outputs they rely on
Keep Things Stable & Running
- Monitor and maintain system performance
- Reduce errors, downtime, and technical debt
- Ensure new changes don’t negatively impact existing processes
YOU'RE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE (OR IF YOU CAN):
- 5+ years of experience working with ERP or enterprise systems
- Strong programming and database skills (PL/SQL or similar, plus solid query skills)
- Experience designing and building scalable system solutions
- Comfort working with complex data, logic, and calculations
- Ability to interpret technical specs, product designs, or engineering documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills—you don’t stop at the first answer
- Clear communication skills—you can work across technical and non-technical teams
- Self-driven and organized, with a high attention to detail
ALSO WANT TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE:
- Experience with Oracle tools (PL/SQL, Forms, APEX)
- Background supporting manufacturing or made-to-order environments
- Familiarity with CPQ or product configuration systems
