Job Description:
- Responsible for leading and working with team members including assigning work, training, and reviewing quality work.?
- Monitoring employee attendance and productivity, and taking steps to improve performance where necessary.
- Ensure all employee are utilizing all safety precautions and maintaining safe work environment.??
- Communicating concerns, updates, and completion timelines (with site management and customer)
- Sorts and organizes freight
- Operate various types of material handling equipment
- Sort, repack, and label freight
- Identify unusable pallets
- Basic ability to read, count and use RF Scanner technology (training provided)
- Remove items from packing bins, scan items using RF Scanner for accuracy, produce packing list and bag items
- Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures. (eg.bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
- Maintains work area in a clean and hazard free condition
Pay Range: $25.00 - $25.00 per hour
Pay Scale: Not applicable
Shift:
Third Shift: Monday to Thursday, 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM, or last truck
Third Shift: Friday to Sunday, 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM, or last truck
Job Requirements:
- Previous leadership or team lead experience in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to train, assign work, and monitor employee performance.
- Strong communication skills with employees, management, and customers.
- Commitment to enforcing safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment and warehouse machinery.
- Basic reading, counting, and RF scanner skills.
- Ability to sort, organize, repack, and label freight accurately.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and productivity.
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
