Our industry-leading intelligence support program informs decision-makers, from ground force commanders to international partners and national security policymakers. Our employees lead the Intelligence community in providing superior Identity Intelligence and regional threat analysis, and developing innovative data-driven solutions, supporting the customer through intelligence analysis and tradecraft proliferation.
Work Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead technical editor for finished intelligence products, ensuring all written analyses meet established Intelligence Community (IC) standards for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Review, edit, and format complex intelligence assessments, reports, briefings, and executive-level products for grammar, style, structure, logic, and adherence to classification and dissemination requirements.
- Collaborate closely with intelligence analysts, subject matter experts, and production teams to improve the quality and effectiveness of written intelligence products while preserving analytic judgments and key findings.
- Verify compliance with organizational, customer, and IC publication standards; maintain editorial style guides and quality control processes; and provide constructive feedback and mentoring to authors to enhance writing and communication skills.
- Manage multiple time-sensitive production schedules, coordinate product review workflows, and ensure final intelligence deliverables are publication-ready and suitable for senior government, defense, and national security decision-makers.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication and constant mental alertness. Must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines.
Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- Demonstrated expertise editing and preparing finished intelligence products for senior government, military, and national security decision-makers.
- In-depth knowledge of Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) editorial, production, tradecraft, dissemination, and publication standards.
- Proven ability to review and edit complex intelligence assessments, reports, briefings, and other intelligence products for grammar, punctuation, syntax, clarity, logic, consistency, readability, and analytic integrity.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IC and DoD classification guidance, marking requirements, and information handling procedures, including the ability to ensure products comply with applicable security standards.
- Experience ensuring adherence to agency style guides, publication standards, and specialized intelligence terminology across multiple subject matter areas.
- Demonstrated ability to independently coordinate with analysts, authors, subject matter experts, and leadership to improve product quality, narrative organization, and presentation while preserving analytic meaning and intent.
- Experience reviewing and revising tables, graphics, callout boxes, and other visual elements to ensure consistency with accompanying intelligence narratives.
- Ability to evaluate, synthesize, and communicate complex, incomplete, highly technical, or multi-source information in a concise and organized manner.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight while managing multiple products, competing priorities, and tight production deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide constructive editorial feedback, facilitate revisions, and resolve differences regarding content, organization, and presentation.
Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI
Minimum Education: Master’s Degree
Minimum Years of Experience: 12 yrs relevant experience, 17 yrs w/ bachelor’s degree

Compensation Details:
$90,000 - $102,000
