INTRODUCTION
The CRS Technician assists the CRS division in completing CRS-related tasks. This requires job-related skills and the ability to perform in a team environment with the CRS division. The CRS Technician will strive to uphold the Core Values and Vision of FLPM and Bland Landscaping Company.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
RESULTS
- Assist the CRS Associate Project Manager with providing and preparing the necessary materials and equipment to complete the project.
- Assists the CRS Associate Project Manager with obtaining materials and equipment specified for a project.
- Works under the direct supervision of the CRS Project Manager, CRS Associate Project Manager, and with team members to perform job-related tasks and complete projects effectively and efficiently.
- Learn and become proficient in basic equipment maintenance.
Implement effective communication
- Communicate effectively with the CRS Division Manager and CRS team members.
- Responsible for keeping the CRS Division Manager and CRS Project Manager updated on equipment needs, personnel concerns and any other needs for the CRS division to be effective, efficient, and profitable.
- Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and other FLPM employees.
- Respond to company emails within two business days.
- Respond to company texts and phone calls during working hours.
- Assist the CRS Associate Project Manager with preparing and completing job-related tasks.
- Ensure proper safety equipment and precautions are implemented.
- Assists in the mobilization and demobilization of the project.
- Using skills acquired from training to grow as a CRS team member and to obtain greater responsibility with crew oversight and Associate Project Manager skills.
Develop proficiency in FLPM policies
- Use the time app daily and clock into jobs consistently and correctly.
- Become familiar with our vehicle maintenance system and know how to complete an inspection by the end of your first 6 months.
- Learn how to use our human resource software effectively within the first 3 months.
- Check the company calendar daily on workdays and update when necessary.
- Complete self-check ins and other requested human resource items by stated deadline.
Participate in training opportunities
- Attend at least 1 company led training annually.
- Attend and pass Stormwater Control Measure (SCM) Inspection and Maintenance Professional certification within the first year of employment.
- Obtain proper certifications and trainings.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Skills and Qualifications:
- A positive attitude, professional behavior, and willingness to do whatever is necessary is imperative.
- Must be organized, results oriented and pay attention to detail.
- An ability to work well in teams, be a self-starter, be pleasant/helpful/optimistic and work effectively with minimal supervision is required.
- Education and/or experience preferred in construction, landscaping, excavation, environmental, water resources, pond management or stormwater SCM maintenance.
- Experience preferred in operating mini-excavators and skid steer equipment.
- Experience preferred in loading and hauling trailers.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
- Computer skills must be sufficient to communicate, document and occasionally research techniques and activities.
- Physically capable of traveling and working alone.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Must have the ability to work on steep slopes and be able to lift and carry 80 pounds.
- Must have the ability to work in all types of weather and wet conditions.
- Must be familiar with maintaining and operating mowing equipment, chainsaws, pumps and various small equipment.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
