The Opportunity
The Change Activation & AI Education Manager is responsible for driving change management capability building and supporting the activation, adoption and sustained application of AI education across the enterprise. This role ensures that investments in AI education, tools, and leadership capability translate into real behavior change, confident use, and performance impact. This role focuses on how people adopt AI and new ways of working, embedding change, practice, reinforcement, and support into daily work. The role bridges AI education with human skills, leadership, and enterprise capability development to ensure readiness and results.
Guided by our purpose — always with you, building a more confident future — and our New Frontier strategy focused on stronger growth, attractive returns, and all-weather performance, this is an opportunity to ensure AI education at MetLife moves from training to trusted, responsible, and confident use at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the strategy for building enterprise-wide change readiness capabilities, ensuring HR and business leaders are equipped to navigate uncertainty and drive continuous transformation. Oversee the activation and adoption of AI education initiatives, making sure learning is translated into practical behavior and sustained performance.
- Design approaches that strengthen change readiness by integrating practice, reinforcement, nudges, and performance support into both change management and AI education experiences.
- Partner closely with L&D, HR, and business teams to align change readiness and AI education with leadership capability, decision-making, and human skills development.
- Oversee the execution of change readiness and AI education activation plans across all audiences—including leaders, managers, and employees—adapting approaches based on organizational readiness and specific role needs.
- Embed change management principles and readiness-building strategies into AI education offerings (such as Copilot enablement, AI fluency paths, and applied bootcamps) to foster confidence and consistent use.
- Measure change readiness, adoption, and practical application of AI capabilities, with an emphasis on observable behavior change, leadership effectiveness, and business impact.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with demonstrated depth in change management, learning activation, workforce enablement, or related roles.
- Proven experience driving adoption and behavior change, particularly for new tools, technologies, or enterprise-wide ways of working.
- Strong change and activation expertise, with the ability to design reinforcement, practice, and support models beyond traditional training.
- Highly collaborative working style, partnering across leadership development, AI education, HR, and business teams to drive alignment and results.
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in change activation, learning enablement, workforce transformation, or organizational capability roles.
- Experience supporting AI, digital, or technology adoption, focusing on confidence, judgment, and day-to-day application – not just technical knowledge.
- Demonstrated success moving from program-based learning to practice-based capability models.
- Comfort operating in evolving, ambiguous environments, adapting activation approaches as business needs and AI capabilities change.
- Bachelor's Degree
Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
The expected salary range for this position is $107,300 - $142,900. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding TN Visa Sponsorship as an Education
Match your credentials to the specific role
TN classification for educators requires your degree field to correspond directly to the subject you'll teach. A biology degree supporting a chemistry faculty role can trigger denial. Confirm the match before applying.
Request a formal employment letter before crossing
Canadian applicants present their TN application at the port of entry. Your employer must provide a detailed offer letter stating your title, duties, salary, and intended duration. CBP officers adjudicate on the spot based on that document.
Search TN-specific job listings using Migrate Mate
Filter Education roles by TN visa sponsorship availability using Migrate Mate, which surfaces positions from employers already set up to hire Canadian and Mexican professionals without the H-1B lottery.
Clarify adjunct versus full-time classification upfront
CBP expects a clear professional employment relationship. Adjunct contracts with variable hours or multiple concurrent employers can complicate TN status. Confirm your employer will document the role as a professional, defined-term position.
Prepare credential evaluations for non-U.S. degrees
If your degree was earned outside the U.S. or Canada, a credential evaluation from a NACES-member evaluator helps establish equivalency. Some CBP officers or employers request this documentation alongside the offer letter.

Find Education JobsEducation TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Which education roles qualify for TN visa sponsorship?
The TN visa covers professionals in teaching roles at post-secondary institutions, including college professors, university lecturers, and researchers with faculty appointments. K-12 teaching positions are generally not covered under the TN category. The role must be a specialty occupation requiring at minimum a bachelor's degree in a field directly related to the subject matter being taught.
How does the TN visa compare to H-1B for education professionals?
The TN visa has no annual lottery, no cap for Canadian citizens, and can be obtained at a port of entry the same day for Canadians. H-1B requires employer sponsorship months in advance and selection in a randomized lottery. For Canadian and Mexican educators with qualifying roles, TN is almost always faster and more predictable than pursuing H-1B registration.
How can I find education employers that offer TN visa sponsorship?
Use Migrate Mate to search education job listings filtered specifically for TN visa sponsorship. Most standard job searches don't surface work authorization details, so you end up applying to roles where the employer isn't prepared to support TN. Filtering by visa type from the start saves time and focuses your search on employers who are already set up to hire Canadian and Mexican professionals.
What documentation does my employer need to prepare for my TN application?
Your employer must provide a formal offer letter that includes your job title, a description of your duties, the degree field required, your credentials, your start date, and the length of employment. For Canadian applicants presenting at the border, this letter is your primary TN document. For Mexican nationals, it supports the visa application at a U.S. consulate.
Can I hold TN status while teaching at more than one institution?
Yes, but each employer must be listed in your TN documentation. If you add a second institution after your initial TN approval, that institution must also be authorized as part of your status. CBP or USCIS treats each employer relationship separately, so concurrent appointments require careful coordination to avoid working outside the scope of your approved status.
