Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding TN Visa Sponsorship as a Network Coordinator
Match your credentials to the SOC definition
CBP classifies Network Coordinators under Computer Systems Analyst for TN purposes. Your degree or diploma must be in computer science, information systems, or a directly related field. A general business or management credential alone won't clear the category.
Request a TN-specific offer letter
Your employer's offer letter must state the TN category, describe duties in technical systems language, confirm the temporary nature of the role, and specify the period of employment. Generic HR offer letters missing these elements get flagged at the border or consulate.
Target employers experienced with visa sponsorship
Search for employers with recent visa filings to identify companies that have sponsored work visas for Network Coordinator roles. These employers already understand the visa sponsorship process and are far more likely to move forward with your TN application without needing sponsorship education from scratch.
Use Migrate Mate to filter for TN-sponsoring employers
Migrate Mate surfaces Network Coordinator openings from employers with recent visa filings, so you're not cold-applying to companies unfamiliar with work visa sponsorship. Start your search there before targeting any other employer.
Prepare for CBP scrutiny on hybrid or management-heavy roles
If your Network Coordinator title involves significant supervisory or business coordination duties, CBP officers may question whether the role qualifies. Have a detailed duty breakdown ready that anchors at least 70 percent of your responsibilities to technical network systems work.
Understand Mexican citizens face a separate consular process
Mexican professionals cannot use the Canadian land-border TN option. You must apply at a U.S. consulate in Mexico, where appointment availability and review timelines differ. Factor at least four to six weeks for scheduling and processing when negotiating your start date.

Find Network Coordinator JobsNetwork Coordinator TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Network Coordinator role actually qualify for a TN visa?
Yes, provided the role falls under the Computer Systems Analyst TN category. CBP requires that your duties focus on analyzing, planning, and coordinating network systems rather than general project management or operations. Your job offer letter and duty description need to clearly reflect technical responsibilities tied to network infrastructure and configuration.
How does the TN visa compare to H-1B for Network Coordinator roles?
The TN visa has no annual lottery and no numerical cap for Canadian citizens, so you can start as soon as CBP approves your application, sometimes the same day at a land port of entry. H-1B selection is lottery-based with an annual cap, meaning most applicants wait a year or more. For Mexican citizens, the TN has a numerical limit but still avoids the H-1B lottery entirely.
Where can I find Network Coordinator jobs that offer TN visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. It filters job listings by TN visa sponsorship history, so you can identify employers who have already filed for Computer Systems Analyst roles rather than starting every application from scratch with an employer who has never navigated the TN process before.
Can I switch employers while on a TN visa as a Network Coordinator?
Yes, but you need a new TN authorization tied to your new employer before you start working. Your TN status is employer-specific, so you cannot begin work at a new company on the strength of your existing approval. Canadian citizens can typically process the new TN at a port of entry. Mexican citizens must return to consular processing for each employer change.
What documents do I need to bring to the border or consulate as a Network Coordinator?
You need a valid passport, a detailed offer letter from your U.S. employer covering the TN category, job duties, and employment period, plus evidence of your qualifying credentials such as a degree or diploma in a related field. CBP officers may also ask for documentation showing the technical nature of the role, so a duty summary separate from your offer letter is worth preparing.
