THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead end-to-end design for our MyVeeva for Patients products. You will solve complex functional problems and build highly intuitive, user-centered solutions that address the complex needs of the clinical trial industry. This role requires close collaboration with Product and Engineering to deliver scalable, impactful experiences.
- Own and lead the end-to-end design process for MyVeeva for Patients, including ideation, wireframing, prototyping, user testing, and high-fidelity design to ensure exceptional user experiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and clinical trial experts, to define design requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives and user needs
- Conduct user research, including interviews, usability testing and desk research to gain insights into user behaviors, pain points, and needs, and use this data to inform design decisions
- Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency and coherence across products and implementations
- Advocate for design excellence, usability, and innovation throughout the product development lifecycle
- Provide mentorship and guidance to other designers, elevating the overall design quality within the team
- Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, market trends, and product performance to drive ongoing improvements
- Ensure that designs align with regulatory and industry standards, particularly within the context of clinical trials and healthcare
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on complex enterprise-level applications
- Proven expertise in UX and interaction design, information architecture and crafting thoughtful and considerate user interfaces
- Experience designing user experiences across multiple touchpoints to unify mixed platforms into one cohesive, seamless experience
- Expert in Figma and other design tooling, including building complex components
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present design concepts and rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for creating intuitive, accessible products
- Experience with agile development processes and collaborating in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
- A proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience building design systems, including governance and maintaining components and patterns
- Has led end-to-end product design on a 0-1 project, starting from requirement gathering to a shipped MVP
- Experience mentoring or leading other designers through design processes
- Has designed for multiple modalities including Phone, Tablet and Web
- Familiarity with modern AI capabilities and workflows

COMPENSATION
- Base pay: $100,000 - $200,000
- The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
