Many candidates also complete graduate programs at schools like Massachusetts College of Art and Design or Northeastern University, which have strong industry connections to Boston-area product teams.
How much do UX product designers make in Massachusetts?
UX product designers in Massachusetts earn a median of about $101,720 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $76,010 for the lowest 10% to over $149,990 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire ux product designers in Massachusetts?

Which Massachusetts cities have the most ux product designer jobs?
Boston, Needham, and Natick have the most ux product designer openings in Massachusetts. Boston and Cambridge drive the majority of postings because of the dense cluster of technology companies, major academic medical centers, and financial services headquarters located there, while smaller cities in the mix typically reflect satellite offices of large Boston-based employers or remote-compatible roles posted to a Massachusetts location.
