At Wallick, our mission is simple and meaningful: Opening doors to homes, opportunities, and hope.
We provide affordable housing and senior living communities where residents depend on us every day for safety, service, stability, and care. Behind that work is a technology ecosystem that must be reliable, secure, cost-effective, and easy for our associates to use.
That’s where this role comes in.
As our IT Vendor Management Analyst, you’ll play a high-impact role in improving how Wallick manages technology partners, vendor performance, and IT service delivery.

- Serve as a key connector between Wallick’s business needs and supplier delivery.
Own Contract Lifecycle & Renewal Visibility
- Maintain a living contract calendar across the supplier portfolio.
- Track renewal timelines, key terms, and decision points.
- Anticipate renewals six to nine months in advance.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to prepare for renewals, negotiations, and vendor decisions.
- Support better commercial outcomes through planning, visibility, and discipline.
Partner with Architecture & IT Leadership
- Partner with the Principal Architect on quarterly stack-value reviews.

Vendor Account Manager Jobs in Ohio: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a vendor account manager in Ohio?
Most Ohio employers expect a bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field as the baseline qualification. No state-issued license is required for vendor account management in Ohio. Candidates typically build experience through roles in purchasing, account coordination, or sales before moving into vendor management. Earning a Certified Professional in Supply Management credential or a similar procurement certification strengthens competitiveness with mid-size and enterprise Ohio employers.
Which companies hire vendor account managers in Ohio?
Ohio vendor account manager roles are posted by Deloitte, Wendy's, and JPMorganChase and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Ohio's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and large distribution operations means enterprise employers with complex supplier networks are among the most active hirers in the state.
Which Ohio cities have the most vendor account manager jobs?
Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati have the most vendor account manager openings in Ohio right now. Columbus leads because of its dense cluster of corporate headquarters, healthcare systems, and logistics hubs, while Cleveland's manufacturing and healthcare sectors drive demand there, and Cincinnati benefits from the large consumer goods and distribution companies rooted in the region.
Are there remote vendor account manager jobs in Ohio?
Yes, and more than most fields, because vendor account management centers on communication, contracts, and data rather than physical presence. About 67% of vendor account manager openings tied to Ohio are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the desk-based nature of the work. Roles focused on software vendor accounts or national supplier portfolios tend to offer the most location flexibility.
How can I get hired as a vendor account manager in Ohio with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a purchasing coordinator, sales support, or vendor onboarding specialist role at a large Ohio employer. Companies like Cardinal Health, Nationwide, and major Ohio health systems regularly hire into junior procurement and account support roles that feed into vendor management careers. Building familiarity with a CRM or ERP system and earning an entry-level supply chain certificate from an Ohio community college or university extension program can give candidates a concrete edge over other applicants.
