Schedule: Full-time; occasional kennel shifts required

Animal House of Chicago is searching for an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our incredible team. As our hospital continues to grow with the addition of a new veterinarian, we're excited to welcome another talented technician to our four-doctor practice. • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgeries, and dental procedures
• Monitor anesthesia and surgical patients
• Perform venipuncture and collect diagnostic samples
• Provide compassionate nursing care and patient monitoring
• Educate clients on treatments, medications, and preventative care
• Maintain accurate patient records and support daily hospital operations
• Assist with occasional kennel responsibilities as needed
• Collaborate with doctors and teammates to deliver outstanding patient care

What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred, or a minimum of 3 years of veterinary assistant experience
• Surgical and anesthesia monitoring experience
• Proficiency with venipuncture
• Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills
• Passion for learning and growing professionally
• Exotic animal experience is a plus
• Spanish-speaking skills are a plus
• Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
