Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects in alignment with organizational goals as identified by the VH Sr. Vice President, VH Mon Medical Center (MMC) Chief Administrative Officer and administrative team for VH Mon Medical Center. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. The Project Manager works cross-functionally to coordinate resources, manage risks, and communicate progress to stakeholders. Acts as direct assist to the Sr. Vice President, identifying and prioritizing meetings with internal and external constituents.
Responsibilities
Define project scope, objectives , and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project execution
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines and goals
Identify , assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
Communicate project status, updates, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership
Ensure resource availability and allocation throughout the project lifecycle
Maintain project documentation, including plans, reports, and lessons learned
Facilitate meetings, including project kickoffs, status updates, and post-project reviews
Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and tools
Memorialize meetings through minutes, sending out reminders for meeting prep in advance of meetings to facilitate actionable results during the meeting
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Experience
Proven experience managing projects from initiation through completion
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Proficiency with project management tools and software
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
Experience in [industry or field, if applicable]
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies
Working Conditions
This role may operate in a professional office environment, remote setting, or hybrid model depending on organizational needs.
