The project is focused on providing structured cabling support for hyperscale data center deployments, covering both pre-cabling and post-cabling activities. It aims to ensure reliable and efficient infrastructure implementation while establishing a scalable delivery model for future data center expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Performing on-site activities within hyperscale and enterprise data center environments.
- Executing pre-cabling tasks including cable labeling, cable pulling, routing, and patching of terminated copper cables.
- Performing post-cabling activities including fiber and copper cable connections and drop & connect operations to production environments.
- Patching and dressing fiber and copper cabling according to customer standards and project requirements.
- Supporting server rack connectivity and structured cabling infrastructure deployment.
- Following customer operational procedures, health & safety requirements, and security policies.
- Maintaining high-quality installation standards and attention to detail during all deployment activities.
- Supporting additional deployment and cabling activities as required by project needs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Hands-on experience with structured cabling infrastructure, including copper and fiber optic cabling, for 2+ years.
- Experience working on a hyperscale data center.
- Experience with cable pulling, labeling, patching, and cable management.
- Practical onsite installation experience in data center, telecommunications, low-voltage, construction, or logistics environments.
- Strong understanding of low-voltage infrastructure and network cabling.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate, organized installation work.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience working in data centers, particularly hyperscale data center environments.
- Experience with fiber testing and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with OTDR and VFL testing tools.
- Additional experience with network cabling and connectivity infrastructure.
