We are seeking an Intern - AI Data Engineer to help build and evolve an Agentic Data Engineering Accelerator that automates the creation of cloud data platforms and analytical applications using Generative AI.
The opportunity:
- Build and enhance data pipelines and analytics components on cloud platforms (AWS)
- Design, review, and validate AI-generated code and data workflows
- Contribute to agent-based systems that translate natural language intent into technical implementations
- Improve prompt templates, system prompts, and agent reasoning workflows
- Document architectures, patterns, and best practices for internal accelerators
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What you need:
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Strong understanding of data engineering fundamentals (ETL/ELT, data modeling)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Foundational knowledge of Generative AI / LLMs and prompt engineering
- Experience with Git and collaborative development practices
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to agentic AI patterns, RAG, or AI-assisted development
- Experience with analytics platforms, BI tools, or metadata systems
Role Location: Remote/Hybrid - US
Compensation Range: $20-24 hr
