ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As an intern on the Longmont, Colorado supply chain team you will be an active contributor to the development and improvement of manufacturing and supply chain processes and the deployment of lean manufacturing processes.
What you’ll do (Job Responsibilities)
- Develop and publish standard work procedures
- Collect and analyze data to aid in data driven decision making
- Execute Lean 5s activities in the manufacturing shop
- Collaborate with production supervisors, materials team members, and manufacturing engineers to support and lead projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost
- Support manufacturing engineers and facilities team with installation and project management of new equipment
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn custom database and software applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in team environment as well as an individual
- Current enrollment in undergrad or graduate degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Computer, Supply Chain or related field)
- US citizen
- Ability to work on site in Longmont, Colorado
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Engineering degrees desired
- Prior technical work experience
- Leadership experience
- Experience with custom databases and software applications
- Passion for learning and growing

COMPENSATION
- The pay range for this position is $1,000-$2,000 USD weekly. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
