Which companies in Colorado sponsor visas for finance business partners?
Colorado employers with documented H-1B sponsorship history for finance and FP&A roles include Lockheed Martin, DaVita, Dish Network, Arrow Electronics, and Trimble. Large healthcare systems such as UCHealth and SCL Health also sponsor for senior finance roles. Tech companies in the Denver-Boulder corridor have expanded finance teams and increasingly sponsor qualified international candidates for business partner positions.
Which visa types are most common for finance business partner roles in Colorado?
The H-1B is the most common visa for finance business partner roles in Colorado, as the position typically requires a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics and qualifies as a specialty occupation. Candidates already holding an L-1B or L-1A through a multinational employer may also transfer into a Colorado-based finance business partner role. TN status is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals with qualifying finance degrees.
How to find finance business partner visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find finance business partner roles in Colorado where employers are open to visa sponsorship. The platform filters jobs specifically by sponsorship availability, saving you from applying to roles where international candidates are screened out early. Focusing your search on Denver and the Front Range corridor will surface the highest concentration of active finance business partner openings in the state.
Which cities in Colorado have the most finance business partner sponsorship jobs?
Denver accounts for the largest share of finance business partner openings in Colorado, driven by its concentration of corporate headquarters, energy firms, and healthcare organizations. Boulder has a secondary cluster tied to its tech startup and life sciences sectors. Aurora and Englewood also see consistent demand, particularly from defense contractors and large regional employers with established finance departments.
Are there any Colorado-specific considerations for finance business partners seeking visa sponsorship?
Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers to post salary ranges on all job listings, which gives international candidates useful context when evaluating sponsorship-eligible roles. The state's energy, aerospace, and healthcare industries drive demand for finance business partners with sector-specific modeling experience. Employers in these industries often have established immigration processes, making them more receptive to sponsoring candidates than smaller firms without prior H-1B experience.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored finance business partner jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
