Client is seeking a motivated Generator Assembly Technician to assemble generators, install components, and support production activities at various job sites. Travel will primarily be throughout the Western United States, with occasional travel to other U.S. locations.
Responsibilities
- Assemble generators and related components.
- Perform drilling, bolting, grinding, and torque-related tasks.
- Assist with electrical wiring and fuel fittings.
- Follow safety procedures, use PPE, and comply with fall protection requirements.
- Perform quality inspections and identify defective materials.
- Maintain a clean work area and meet production goals.
- Collaborate with team members and report equipment issues.
- Travel to local and regional job sites as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in mechanical assembly, production, or equipment installation preferred.
- Familiarity with drilling, bolting, angle grinders, and torque tools.
- Experience with scissor lifts, cranes, forklifts, and fall protection preferred.
- Basic electrical wiring and fuel fitting experience is a plus.
- Willingness to travel and learn new skills.
- Strong teamwork, safety awareness, and attention to detail.
COMPENSATION
- Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
