JOB SUMMARY:
This role involves architecting, developing, and maintaining critical services that bridge job site operations and back-office systems. You will be instrumental in guiding technical strategy, adopting new technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Embracing Agile principles, you will contribute to a culture of continuous delivery and simplicity in software design.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the technical direction for data and service architecture.
- Implement event-driven data flows between disparate systems.
- Develop and orchestrate cloud-based services and APIs.
- Design and troubleshoot scalable cloud services for data ingestion and transformation.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster collaborative development practices.
MUST-HAVE SKILLS:
- 8+ years of backend services and API development experience.
- Proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework with build tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and microservice architecture.
DOMAIN / INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:
Experience in software engineering within the construction technology or related fields is advantageous, focusing on integrating field operations with backend systems.
