Which companies sponsor visas for systems analysts in Colorado?
Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, DISH Network, DXC Technology, and Centura Health are among the Colorado employers with documented H-1B visa sponsorship history for systems analyst roles. Large federal contractors in the Denver metro and Colorado Springs areas file Labor Condition Applications regularly for this occupation, making them reliable targets for international candidates seeking sponsorship.
Which visa types are most common for systems analyst roles in Colorado?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for systems analysts in Colorado, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field. Candidates already in the U.S. on F-1 OPT or STEM OPT frequently transition to H-1B through employer sponsorship. L-1B intracompany transfers also appear for analysts moving within multinational firms.
Which cities in Colorado have the most systems analyst sponsorship jobs?
Denver accounts for the largest share of systems analyst sponsorship activity in Colorado, driven by its concentration of technology firms, financial services companies, and government contractors. Boulder adds a significant number of roles through its university-adjacent tech sector. Colorado Springs is notable for defense and aerospace employers, including several large federal contractors that regularly sponsor systems analyst positions.
How to find systems analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search for systems analyst roles in Colorado without sifting through positions that won't consider international candidates. The platform surfaces employers with active sponsorship history in the state, which is particularly useful given how spread out Colorado's tech hiring is across Denver, Boulder, and Colorado Springs.
Are there any Colorado-specific factors that affect systems analyst visa sponsorship?
Colorado's EPEWA (Equal Pay for Equal Work Act) requires employers to post compensation ranges in job listings, which gives international candidates useful context when evaluating roles. The state's strong defense contracting sector means some systems analyst positions require security clearances, which can complicate or preclude H-1B sponsorship for non-citizens. University of Colorado and Colorado State produce a steady pipeline of domestic graduates, so sponsored roles tend to be at mid-to-senior levels where specialized experience justifies the sponsorship investment.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored systems analyst jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
