Which companies in Texas sponsor visas for systems analysts?
Large Texas employers with established sponsorship track records for systems analyst roles include Dell Technologies, AT&T, ExxonMobil, American Airlines, JPMorgan Chase, and Deloitte. Major healthcare systems like HCA Healthcare and Baylor Scott and White also hire systems analysts and have sponsored work visas. Consulting firms with significant Texas offices, including Accenture and Infosys, are among the most active sponsors in this category.
What visa types are most commonly used for systems analyst roles in Texas?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for systems analyst positions in Texas, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. Some applicants also work under OPT or STEM OPT while seeking full sponsorship. Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify for the TN visa under the NAFTA/USMCA engineer or systems analyst category.
Which Texas cities have the most systems analyst visa sponsorship jobs?
Dallas-Fort Worth leads the state for systems analyst sponsorship volume, driven by the concentration of corporate headquarters in finance, telecom, and aviation. Houston is a strong second, particularly in energy and healthcare IT. Austin's growing tech sector adds meaningful volume as well, with companies like Apple, Google, and Oracle operating major campuses there. San Antonio has a smaller but active market, anchored by defense contractors and financial services firms.
How to find systems analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters systems analyst roles in Texas by visa sponsorship availability, so you're not sifting through listings where sponsorship isn't offered. The platform covers employers across Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. Filtering by role and state on Migrate Mate gives you a focused list of Texas employers actively open to sponsoring systems analysts rather than a general job feed.
Are there any Texas-specific factors that affect systems analyst sponsorship hiring?
Texas has no state income tax, which influences employer compensation structures and can make offers more competitive in real terms for sponsored workers. The state's large university system, including UT Austin, Texas A&M, and UT Dallas, produces a strong local pipeline of systems analysts, meaning employers often see both domestic and international candidates. Texas also hosts major technology campuses for companies already familiar with H-1B sponsorship processes, which generally streamlines hiring for international applicants.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored systems analyst jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
