Which companies sponsor visas for systems analysts in Oregon?
Intel is one of Oregon's most active H-1B sponsors for systems analysts, with a large campus in Hillsboro. Nike's Beaverton headquarters, Daimler Truck North America, Providence Health, and PacificSource Health Plans have also filed LCAs for systems analyst roles in Oregon. Technology consulting firms with Oregon offices, including Accenture and Cognizant, appear regularly in Department of Labor disclosure data for this state.
Which visa types are most common for systems analyst roles in Oregon?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for systems analysts in Oregon, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. TN status is available for Canadian and Mexican nationals working as systems analysts under USMCA. Some employers also sponsor L-1B transfers for analysts moving from an overseas office.
Which cities in Oregon have the most systems analyst sponsorship jobs?
Portland accounts for the largest share of systems analyst sponsorship activity in Oregon, driven by its concentration of technology, healthcare, and financial services employers. Hillsboro and Beaverton are significant secondary hubs, anchored by Intel's semiconductor operations and Nike's global headquarters. Salem sees some demand from state government contractors, and Eugene has emerging opportunities connected to the University of Oregon's technology partnerships.
How to find systems analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can browse systems analyst roles in Oregon without sorting through positions that won't consider international candidates. The platform surfaces openings from employers with documented sponsorship histories in the state, including large tech and healthcare organizations. Filtering by Oregon and the systems analyst role category on Migrate Mate is the most direct way to identify relevant opportunities.
Are there state-specific considerations for systems analysts seeking visa sponsorship in Oregon?
Oregon employers filing Labor Condition Applications must pay at least the prevailing wage for systems analyst roles in the relevant metropolitan area, with Portland-Vancouver-Hillsboro carrying a higher prevailing wage level than rural Oregon locations. Oregon's semiconductor and clean energy sectors have expanded hiring in recent years, increasing demand for analysts with supply chain or manufacturing systems backgrounds. Oregon Health and Science University also generates a pipeline of sponsorship activity for analysts supporting clinical and research information systems.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored systems analyst jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
