Job Description
- Verify and test electrical circuits for communicating with and controlling a complex mechatronic system. Circuitry will include microprocessor, FPGA, DC/DC Regulation, BLDC motor control, precision monitoring of torsional sensors, and EtherCAT communication.
- Develop and document test procedures and protocols.
- Test and debug custom printed circuit boards.
- Prepare and participate in design reviews.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of electronics circuit design including schematics, component selection, and board layout (will be tested on thoroughly)
- Familiar with standard hardware interfaces (e.g. SPI, QSPI, I2C, MII, 1-wire)
- Expert-level user of debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, etc.
- Strong skills with PCB design tools (e.g. Allegro/OrCAD, PSpice a plus)
