Search Account Associate Jobs in FloridaAccount Associate Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies sponsor visas for account associates in Florida?
Financial services firms and technology companies make up the largest share of account associate sponsorship in Florida. Citigroup and Raymond James have active presences in Miami and St. Petersburg respectively, and Ryder System, World Fuel Services, and Chewy have sponsored similar client-facing roles. Hospitality and logistics companies in Orlando and Tampa also hire account associates with sponsorship support.
Which visa types are most common for account associate roles in Florida?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for account associates in Florida, provided the role requires a specialized bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, or marketing. The L-1B is an option for intracompany transfers with specialized knowledge. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa, and Canadian or Mexican nationals may be eligible for TN visa status under the USMCA.
Which cities in Florida have the most account associate sponsorship jobs?
Miami leads the state for account associate sponsorship, driven by its concentration of international financial institutions, multinational corporations, and trade-focused businesses. Tampa is a strong secondary market, particularly in financial services and technology. Orlando has growing demand tied to hospitality, software, and professional services firms. Fort Lauderdale and Jacksonville also have active hiring activity in this role category.
How to find account associate visa sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search account associate roles in Florida without manually screening each posting. The platform surfaces employers who have a documented history of sponsoring work visas, which is particularly useful in Florida's competitive market where sponsorship is not always clearly disclosed. Setting up alerts for account associate roles in Miami, Tampa, or Orlando keeps your search current.
Are there state-specific factors that affect account associate sponsorship in Florida?
Florida has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage calculations used in H-1B Labor Condition Applications since total compensation benchmarks differ from high-tax states. Florida's large international business community, especially in South Florida, means many employers are familiar with sponsorship processes. The state's university pipeline from the University of Florida, Florida State University, and the University of Miami also contributes to a steady pool of sponsored account associate hires.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored account associate jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
