About The Company
At Flow, we’re reimagining what it means to live, work, and connect. More than just a real estate company, Flow is a brand, a technology platform, and an operations ecosystem spanning condominiums, hotels, multifamily residences, and office spaces. We’re building a new kind of living experience: one that’s flexible, connected, and designed to create genuine community and real value for the people who call Flow home. Our mission is oneness: prioritizing our residents and their experiences, and fostering connection with ourselves, their neighbors, and the natural world. By putting people at the center of everything we do, we’re creating vibrant, human-centered communities where life, work, creativity, and play all come together in one place. As a member of Flow’s data team, you’ll shape the data architecture and AI-assisted analytics that power decision-making across our multifamily real estate portfolio. We’re looking for an engineer who builds robust data solutions and works directly with the people who use them every day — property managers, leasing directors, and marketing teams. This isn’t a role where you build pipelines in isolation and hand them off. You’ll be embedded with operations teams, translating their real-world problems into elegant technical solutions — and increasingly, into AI-assisted tools and insights that make those solutions smarter over time. When a property manager says “tours are down this week,” you’ll investigate data quality, understand the operational context, surface actionable insights, and build the analytical intelligence that helps teams act faster and with more confidence. Not just a dashboard. A better way of working. At Flow, we’re building sophisticated data infrastructure for the modern real estate industry. We leverage cloud-native technologies and AI-assisted development to move fast while maintaining production-grade quality. You’ll use tools like Claude Code and Cursor as force multipliers — which means strong written communication is how you work effectively. Clear prompts, clear documentation, clear stakeholder updates. AI amplifies your impact when you communicate well. When you don’t, it becomes a liability. We value engineers who think critically, work independently, and own problems end-to-end. You’ll have significant autonomy to scope projects, make architectural decisions, and challenge assumptions when the data doesn’t support the hypothesis. Finally, we believe our team is better together. Every position at Flow has an onsite or in-office requirement.
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and architecture using Snowflake, dbt, and AWS
- Implement scalable ETL processes and data models that power analytics across the organization
- Build AI-assisted analytics and insights that help operations teams make better decisions faster — surfacing patterns, anomalies, and opportunities that traditional dashboards miss
- Tackle complex data challenges like entity resolution, multi-system attribution, and household matching
- Work directly with operations teams across leasing, marketing, and property management to translate daily workflow challenges into data and AI-powered solutions
- Own problems end-to-end — from stakeholder conversations through implementation to deployment and adoption
- Document architectural decisions and explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders in clear, jargon-free language
- Use AI coding assistants to accelerate development while maintaining production-quality code
- Write effective prompts for AI tools and review generated solutions critically — knowing when to trust AI output and when to take over
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of three years of data engineering experience building scalable data systems in operations-heavy, data-forward organizations
- Experience working in product and operations environments where data directly impacts daily business decisions
- Deep expertise in data modeling with dbt — you understand how to model around the deficiencies and quirks of upstream operational systems
- Comfort building or contributing to AI-assisted analytics — whether that’s integrating LLM-powered insights into existing workflows, building intelligent alerting, or designing systems that surface the right information at the right time
- Strong written and verbal communication skills — comfortable writing clear documentation, effective AI prompts, and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- High proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern data stack technologies including Snowflake, Fivetran, Dagster or Airflow, and dbt
- A solid understanding of the principles and challenges of ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and efficiency in distributed data systems
- The ability to strike a balance between elegant design and pragmatic tradeoffs, all while prioritizing continuous delivery of value to the business
- Experience building data solutions in fast-moving startup environments
- Strong analytical skills with a natural curiosity to understand and solve complex business problems through data — and an interest in how AI changes what’s possible
Benefits
- Comprehensive Benefits Package (Medical / Dental / Vision / Disability / Life)
- Paid time off and 13 paid holidays
- 401(k) retirement plan
- Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)
- Access to HSA-compatible plans
- Pre-tax commuter benefits
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP), free therapy through SpringHealth, acupuncture, and other wellness offerings

Which companies sponsor visas for AI product engineers in Florida?
Florida-based employers with documented H-1B sponsorship history in AI and product engineering include Chewy (Dania Beach), Citrix (Fort Lauderdale), Lennar Technology Group (Miami), and Ultimate Kronos Group (Weston). Defense and simulation contractors in the Orlando area, such as Lockheed Martin and L3Harris, also sponsor engineers working on AI-driven systems, though their roles often require specific clearance eligibility.
Which visa types are most common for AI product engineer roles in Florida?
The H-1B is the primary visa category for AI product engineer positions in Florida. These roles typically qualify as specialty occupations requiring at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field. Candidates already holding O-1A visas based on extraordinary ability in AI research may also find opportunities, and some multinational employers use the L-1B for intracompany transfers into Florida product teams.
Which cities in Florida have the most AI product engineer sponsorship jobs?
Miami and its surrounding Broward County corridor account for a significant share of Florida's AI product engineering sponsorship activity, driven by fintech, edtech, and enterprise software companies. Tampa hosts a growing cluster of health tech and data platform employers. Orlando's aerospace and simulation industry creates demand for AI engineers, while Jacksonville's expanding financial services sector contributes smaller but consistent sponsorship volume.
How to find ai product engineer visa sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify AI product engineer roles in Florida where employers are actively willing to sponsor. Rather than sifting through general job boards, you can search by role and state to surface companies with documented sponsorship history. Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates navigating the U.S. job market.
Are there state-specific factors affecting AI product engineer visa sponsorship in Florida?
Florida has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage comparisons since employers filing Labor Condition Applications must meet Department of Labor wage levels regardless. The state's large university system, including the University of Florida and Florida International University, produces a pipeline of OPT-eligible AI and computer science graduates that some employers factor into their sponsorship planning. Florida's lack of a dominant single tech hub means sponsorship is more distributed across industries than in states like California or Washington.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored ai product engineer jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
