Which companies sponsor visas for project management analysts in Florida?
Florida employers with documented H-1B visa sponsorship history for project management analyst roles include Lockheed Martin in Orlando, AdventHealth and HCA Florida Healthcare in the Tampa-Orlando corridor, Carnival Corporation in Miami, and Chewy in Dania Beach. Large defense contractors and hospital systems tend to sponsor most consistently, as they maintain dedicated HR infrastructure for immigration filings and regularly hire for structured project oversight positions.
Which visa types are most common for project management analyst roles in Florida?
The H-1B is the most common visa for project management analysts in Florida, requiring the role to qualify as a specialty occupation, typically supported by a degree in business, engineering, information systems, or a related field. Candidates already holding L-1B status through an intracompany transfer or those on OPT may also fill these roles, and TN visas apply to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management or engineering categories.
Which cities in Florida have the most project management analyst sponsorship jobs?
Orlando leads Florida for project management analyst sponsorship activity, driven by defense, simulation technology, and healthcare. Miami follows closely, supported by its international business sector, logistics firms, and large hospital networks. Tampa has grown significantly due to financial services, healthcare systems like BayCare and Tampa General, and technology companies expanding in the region. Jacksonville also has a presence through defense contractors and banking institutions with project management functions.
How to find project management analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates searching for visa sponsorship roles, including project management analyst positions in Florida. You can filter by state and role to see employers actively hiring and sponsoring in this category. Because not all job postings disclose sponsorship willingness upfront, Migrate Mate focuses on surfacing employers with a documented history of sponsoring foreign workers, saving you time on roles unlikely to move forward.
Are there any Florida-specific considerations for project management analyst visa sponsorship?
Florida's strong university pipeline, including graduates from the University of Florida, University of Miami, and Florida International University, means employers are familiar with OPT and H-1B transitions for project management roles. The state has no income tax, which affects prevailing wage context in offer negotiations. Florida's concentration of federal contractors, particularly in the Orlando and Melbourne areas, means many roles fall under regulated federal hiring frameworks that support structured visa sponsorship processes.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored project management analyst jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
