Which companies in Florida sponsor visas for quality program managers?
Florida's largest visa sponsors for quality program manager roles include Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman in the Space Coast aerospace corridor, AdventHealth and HCA Healthcare in central and central-west Florida, and Carnival Corporation and Chewy in the South Florida metro. Defense contractors and hospital systems have historically filed consistent H-1B petitions for quality and program management functions.
Which visa types are most common for quality program manager roles in Florida?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for quality program managers in Florida, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field, satisfying the specialty occupation requirement. Candidates with multinational employer backgrounds may also qualify for an L-1A or L-1B transfer. Australian citizens working in this field can explore the E-3 visa as an alternative to the H-1B.
Which cities in Florida have the most quality program manager sponsorship jobs?
Orlando leads for quality program manager sponsorship jobs in Florida, driven by aerospace, defense, and healthcare employers concentrated there. The Space Coast cities of Melbourne and Cape Canaveral follow closely due to NASA-adjacent contractors. Tampa and Miami round out the top markets, with Tampa strong in healthcare operations and Miami attracting logistics, cruise industry, and technology companies that sponsor quality roles.
How to find quality program manager visa sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it easier to identify quality program manager openings in Florida without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. You can filter by state and role to surface employers in Florida's aerospace, healthcare, and tech sectors who are actively hiring and sponsoring international candidates for quality program management positions.
Are there any Florida-specific considerations for quality program managers seeking visa sponsorship?
Florida's defense and aerospace employers often require or prefer candidates who can obtain a U.S. security clearance, which is generally only available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents. This limits sponsorship opportunities at some of the state's largest employers in that sector. Life sciences and healthcare companies in Tampa and Miami face no such restrictions and represent more accessible sponsorship pathways for international quality program managers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored quality program manager jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
