Which companies sponsor visas for CT technologists in Georgia?
Emory Healthcare, Piedmont Healthcare, Grady Health System, Northside Hospital, and WellStar Health System are among the largest employers of CT technologists in Georgia and have histories of sponsoring work visas for qualified imaging professionals. Augusta University Medical Center and Memorial Health in Savannah also hire CT techs and have recruited internationally trained candidates for hard-to-fill radiology positions.
Which visa types are most common for CT technologist roles in Georgia?
The H-1B visa is the most common pathway for CT technologists in Georgia, as the role generally qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a degree in radiologic technology or a related field. Some employers also use the EB-3 immigrant visa for permanent sponsorship, particularly for experienced techs. TN status is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals with qualifying credentials. ARRT certification and Georgia state licensure are typically required regardless of visa type.
Which cities in Georgia have the most CT technologist sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta is by far the leading market for CT technologist visa sponsorship in Georgia, driven by its concentration of large hospital systems and imaging centers. Augusta is the second-strongest market, anchored by Augusta University Medical Center and several regional hospitals. Savannah, Macon, and Columbus also have active hiring, though at smaller volumes. Rural Georgia health systems occasionally sponsor visas when local recruitment efforts fall short.
How to find ct technologist visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find CT technologist visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia. The platform filters jobs specifically by sponsorship availability and state, so you can browse Georgia-based CT tech roles without sorting through positions that won't support visa candidates. Targeting large Atlanta health systems and Augusta-area hospitals first gives the best odds, as these employers have established HR processes for international hires.
Are there any state-specific considerations for CT technologists seeking visa sponsorship in Georgia?
Georgia requires CT technologists to hold an active state license through the Georgia Medical Composite Medical Board, and most employers also require current ARRT certification in computed tomography. Employers sponsoring H-1B visas must pay the prevailing wage as determined by the Department of Labor for the specific Georgia metro area where the position is located, which varies between Atlanta, Augusta, and smaller markets. Emory and Augusta University's academic medical center affiliations can make them more familiar with international credentialing processes.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored ct technologist jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
