Summary:
Operates Computerized Tomography and Radiologic equipment to produce Diagnostic C.T. Scans and diagnostic radiographs, under indirect supervision. Ensures all aspects of patients' records are processed properly to initiate procedure results in a timely manner. Evaluates images with Radiologist, takes additional images as needed or requested. Assists with procedures of an invasive nature. Performs other assigned duties as training and skills allow.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Formal Education Required:
- Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiologic Technology and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Must be licensed as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio.

Experience & Training Required:
- One (1) year Radiology Technology experience preferred.

CT Registry preferred.

Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
- Manual dexterity sufficient to calibrate and operate equipment, properly position patients, apply and adjust restraining devices and administer intravenous injections of contrast.
- Ability to communicate verbally with patients, physicians and other hospital employees.
- Ability to lift and position patients.
- Successful completion of training to perform other radiology procedures.
- Ability to utilize computer system and file system to facilitate patient records.
- Ability to initiate CPR and (CPR Certification).
