Which companies in Georgia sponsor visas for operations project managers?
Georgia's largest visa sponsors for operations project manager roles include Delta Air Lines, UPS, NCR Voyix, Cox Enterprises, Home Depot, Novelis, and Gulfstream Aerospace. Savannah-area logistics firms tied to the Port of Georgia also sponsor for supply chain-focused project management roles. Multinational manufacturers operating in the state, particularly in automotive and aerospace, are consistent sponsors as well.
Which visa types are most common for operations project manager roles in Georgia?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for operations project managers in Georgia, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in business, industrial engineering, or a related field. The L-1B and L-1A are also relevant for candidates transferring within multinational companies. TN visas apply to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management or engineering classifications.
Which cities in Georgia have the most operations project manager sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the majority of sponsored operations project manager positions in Georgia, given its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, logistics companies, and technology employers. Savannah is a secondary hub due to port and supply chain operations. Gainesville, Columbus, and Augusta have smaller but active hiring pipelines, particularly in manufacturing and healthcare operations management.
How to find operations project manager visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically to operations project manager roles where employers are open to visa sponsorship in Georgia, saving you the time of screening through postings that don't apply to international candidates. You can search by city, filter by sponsorship type, and track roles at companies like Delta, UPS, and Home Depot that have established H-1B filing histories in this state.
Are there any state-specific considerations for operations project managers seeking sponsorship in Georgia?
Georgia's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B operations project manager roles are set by the Department of Labor based on the Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Roswell and other metropolitan statistical areas, so offered compensation must meet the applicable wage level for the specific location. Georgia Tech's industrial and systems engineering program also creates a notable pipeline of international graduates that many state employers actively recruit from for entry and mid-level operations roles.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored operations project manager jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
