- Execute machine setups and changeovers according to precise production specifications to minimize downtime.
- Monitor automated press lines and feed systems to ensure consistent output and process stability.
- Conduct rigorous quality inspections using precision measurement tools to verify conformance to engineering drawings.
- Perform proactive mechanical maintenance and minor die repairs to keep production lines running smoothly.
- Manage raw material movement and finished goods using overhead cranes and material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate production logs and documentation to support operational transparency and inventory control.
- Troubleshoot mechanical errors and identify root causes to improve overall equipment effectiveness.
- Organize and maintain die racks and tooling components to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a metal stamping environment.
- Proven ability to perform complex machine setups and die changeovers.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and schematics.
- Experience operating overhead cranes and material handling equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with standard shop hand tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of progressive die stamping processes.
- Experience with Minster or similar high-speed stamping presses.
- Demonstrated ability to perform precision measurements and quality control inspections.
- Strong problem-solving skills related to mechanical troubleshooting.
