The Trainer I - Campus provides cross-functional training and support to all divisions within ArcBest with the goal of improving performance. This position includes researching, developing, and conducting training for all ArcBest divisions and campuses.
Responsibilities
- Champion Company values, policies, and initiatives.
- Collaborate with leadership and other stakeholders to identify training needs and develop appropriate training proposals.
- Develop content for online training modules, instructor-led training (virtual and in-person), videos, and other training resources as needed.
- Train newly hired and tenured employees on orientation and required competencies.
- Review supervisor feedback and provide job shadowing functions to assist management with the improvement of individual performance.
- Provide training assistance for Company initiatives.
- Assist with facilitating ArcBest University in-person and virtual classes.
- Demonstrate basic content development and classroom presentation skills, with guidance and support from senior trainers.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred
Experience:
- 2 years of experience in a sales, operations or customer service role at a transportation or logistics company, preferred
Computer Skills:
- Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Captivate, Microsoft Office Suite and Internal Logistics Applications, required
