Which consulting companies in Indiana sponsor F-1 STEM OPT visas?
Deloitte, Accenture, and Infosys have significant Indiana presences and documented F-1 STEM OPT sponsorship histories. Eli Lilly's consulting and technology divisions in Indianapolis also hire OPT candidates. Mid-size IT consulting firms serving the state's life sciences and manufacturing sectors are active sponsors as well. Checking DOL Labor Condition Application disclosure data helps verify which specific employers have filed for consulting roles in Indiana.
Which cities in Indiana have the most consulting F-1 STEM OPT sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis accounts for the large majority of consulting sponsorship activity in Indiana, driven by its concentration of corporate headquarters, life sciences firms, and technology delivery centers. Bloomington sees some consulting hiring tied to Indiana University's research and technology ecosystem. Fort Wayne and Carmel have smaller but growing professional services markets, particularly in operations and IT consulting serving regional manufacturing clients.
What types of consulting roles typically qualify for F-1 STEM OPT sponsorship?
Roles that qualify generally require a STEM-designated degree and involve quantitative or technical work. In consulting, this includes data analytics consulting, IT systems consulting, management consulting with a quantitative focus, supply chain optimization, and operations research. The position must appear on USCIS's list of STEM-designated CIP codes as matched to your degree field, and your employer must be enrolled in E-Verify.
How do I find consulting F-1 STEM OPT sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate filters consulting job listings in Indiana by visa type, showing only employers with verified F-1 STEM OPT sponsorship history. You can search by city, role type, and STEM field to narrow results to positions that match your degree's CIP code. This is more efficient than manually cross-referencing DOL disclosure data, and it surfaces active openings at Indiana-based consulting firms and regional delivery centers.
Are there Indiana-specific considerations for F-1 STEM OPT consulting sponsorship?
Indiana has no state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond federal rules, but the state's dominant industries shape which consulting specializations see the most hiring. Life sciences consulting tied to Indianapolis's pharmaceutical cluster and operations consulting for manufacturing firms in Fort Wayne and Kokomo are particularly active. Employers must be enrolled in E-Verify for STEM OPT, and Indiana's major consulting offices of large national firms generally meet this requirement.
